Be intentional with your time and energy. Create a daily self-care check-in by asking yourself “How am I feeling right now?” and “What am I needing at this moment?” to help ground and understand what your options are to nurture yourself. Maybe it’s to create¬†a boundary, rest, a new ritual, connect with loved ones who feel safe, say no to plans that feel like too much, have something to look forward to, limit alcohol and drug use, have an exit plan, etc.
